In the past to purchase a plot in the Lower Brighton Cemetery, you were required to buy 5 plots. This has created potential problems with these purchases. In a number of cases the family will not use all the plots. This will leave a number of vacant plots in the cemetery. If this is your situation, would you like to donate them back to the cemetery? The bigger problem is if the purchaser does not have enough plots for their family. Who uses these plots? We need to know who w...ill be buried in these plots. One method is to put in your Will the person or persons who will inherit the plots. You could also inform the cemetery of your decision in writing. Keep in mind the following: A plot can contain two burials (two cremations or one traditional burial and one cremation) at no ADDITIONAL COST. Each additional cremation would cost $300.00. The maximum number of burials per plot is four. I hope I have explained this situation fully and look forward from hearing from you. Any Questions please call Dave Clark at 506-375-6776 See more

A very successful night for the Lower Brighton Cemetery Spring clean up. 1) The grounds were raked. 2) 17 graves were topped off with soil. 3) 21 Headstones were straightened... 4) Two large bags of garbage were picked up. All done by at least 27 hard working men, women and young Adults. A very big thank you to all!
Many hands make light work. Join us May 7 from 6-8:30pm for the Spring Clean-up. Details in the images here.
Lower Brighton Cemetery site overview - 2018. Grounds are maintained through donations and a yearly volunteer cleanup (organized in May). Donations are primarily used to cover general maintenance, including mowing, seeding and road upkeep.
