Last couple days of November shotgun season. The grind continues!

Favourite duck species to hunt? Let’s hear it! For me it’s a toss up between mallards and wood ducks.

My 2020 whitetail hunting has been full of ups and downs to this point. I’ve been able to have some cool encounters with nice bucks which had been few and far between in previous seasons. On Wednesday, I was able to shoot a buck during an evening hunt. My excitement was through the roof only to be immediately followed with the sickly feeling of not being able to recover the deer. There are many factors go into successfully taking a deer and that means there are many opportunities for mistakes. I’ve learned so many lessons this year. Sometimes the best you can do is make adjustments and hope for better results on the next opportunity.
