Some wise words before the beginning of a great season: A community of sailors is a group with a variety of qualifiers. Some have physical skill, agility and e...ndurance. Some have experience, in some cases broadly based on lakes and seas. Some have knowledge of sailing theory, navigation and related scientific information concerning weather and water. Some have the required knowledge of the responsibilities incumbent upon a captain.Some have common sense and appropriate caution and respect for the sea. Some have a good sense of self and how well she or he is equipped to handle all of the above. Some have all of these qualities; most of us don’t. Some have great boats,well fitted for the voyage; some don’t. And these are all things that are of great interest to those of us who love to sail and sometimes go out to sea.

All of our courses are as inclusive as possible. If you identify as having a disability that you are concerned may preclude you from participating please contact us and we will assess what we can do. Our goal is to get everyone sailing regardless of any physical limitations!
