Rebecca Bartlett is one of the 2017 Loyalist Journalism grads who walked straight into a job after graduation. Here's Rebecca's report: "I'm working at myFM in ...Pembroke, Ont. It's a My Broadcasting Corp. station, and is one of 21 stations across the province. I'm an anchor and reporter here and have been enjoying the adventures of moving across the province and working full-time on hyperlocal news. I'd say the best story is covering the massive flooding in Renfrew County and Quebec on my first week here. I drove to Fort-Coulonge and Mansfield in Quebec where they saw extreme flooding and people stranded in houses. The military sent relief to the town, so that was something else to see after starting at myFM two days prior." In the photo, Rebecca's doing on on-air interview with Ottawa South MPP John Fraser. Congratulations on this fantastic start to your journalism career, Rebecca! See more
