Guys, this is one of the best sermons on our life's purpose after salvation that I have ever watched. The guy isn't the best communicator ever, yet he is still a lot better than I am. We are back in Act chapter 14 this last Sunday. We are looking at the 5 things we see in Paul's and Barnabas' life that are a part of every Christian'slives life. Well, they should be a part of our life in some measure anyway if we are keeping in step with the Holy Spirit and abiding in Jesus Christ. And remember, there is always grace. I mean, we are saved by grace alone by faith in Jesus Christ. How much more is their grace as we walk with Jesus Christ. Yet, as we intention...ally aim to walk closer to Jesus Christ and mature more into Christ-likeness, these five things will become more and more a part of our lives. This last Sunday's sermon is here... Pastor adam challenges us to ask ourselves, "What Am I Devoted To?... The truth is, we are already known for what we are devoted to. In fact, most people think about one or two main things when they think about you. Think about it, when you think about others, you often have a couple things that you associate with them. For some, it's a hockey team or a sport; for others of us, it is how we look or what we do for a living. The truth is, what we are known for is often what we are devoted to. When I say prayer, who comes to mind? That person likely comes to mind because they are devoted to prayer. When I say hockey, who comes to mind, like they are in some way devoted to hockey or a hockey team... see, its not rocket science. You have to ask yourself then... What am I devoted to? What am I known for? And are those things the right things? Hope you like the message. I pray it is used by God to challenge and encourage you closer to Jesus Christ, our living Lord and Saviour. Thoughts from the Pastor for this week. A challenge about what we often do, and in contrast what we are called to do when we see other Christian's sin. I pray you give it a listen and are challenged and encouraged in Jesus Christ.

No More Need to Gamble and Guess. Well, this week we only get to part 1 of this topic, you will notice the end seems to come abruptly. But, We are looking at why Peter casts lots in Acts chapter one. What, he basically is gambling??? In the Bible?? For a church leader to be chosen for leadership? Is that what our church should have done? There are a lot of questions that often come from this section of scripture and I hope to answer much of what people struggle with this p...assage. I get too much of it in this message and I will finish up not this coming Thanksgiving Sunday but the Sunday following. So if you still have some questions at the end, check out Part two when I post it in a couple weeks. I pray this message is an encouragement and challenge to all but especially to you who are live life seeking to follow Jesus Christ as you Lord and living Saviour. May God bless you richly today. Remember He made this day for His purposes and His purposes are to spend this day with you. To do this day with you. So don't just fill this day with your own purposes and think it's your day to spend it as you will. It's not our day really, we didn't make it, so it's really not ours. Its God's and in Jesus Christ He wants to spend it pursuing the intentions of His own heart, which being the source of all love, desires to save the lost and mature the saved. Let us be aware of His purposes, His presence, and His love for us and all people and be willing, as He leads to sharing the truth of His holiness, His grace, His truth, and His love. #5 in our Walking Through Acts message series from this last Sunday morning Chruch service is ready. I pray that this message is an encouragement and challenge to you in our walk with Jesus. We look at the 4 qualifications that Peter and the other disciples were looking for in the guys they nominated to fill Judas' place as one of the 12 apostles and disciples. Altogether we see six very important applications. #1 Coming together with God's people for prayer.... #2 Knowing and using the Word of God to direct your daily life. #3 Being those who are always with Jesus and know Jesus is always with us. #4 To live with and be in the body of Christ and intentionally do life together as the family of God. #5 Being active witnesses of Jesus' resurrection and active love, grace, truth, and holiness in our lives. #6 Always remembering actively that we are God's chosen and special possessions and as we live together in the family of God we are living with others who are God's chosen and special possesions. I pray it is a challenge and encourages you in your daily walk with Jesus Christ our living and present Lord and Saviour.
