FOUR YEARS OF LR STUDIOS! In my first year I was shooting boudoir sessions out of my own bedroom, I booked only 3 weddings and I let a company scam me out of thousands of dollars (). I’ve spent a lot of weekends capturing family events for strangers, while missing my own. I’ve logged 12 hour wedding days and stayed up editing until sun rise. I struggled to balance entrepreneurship and friendships, I compared myself to others and hated my work. I’ve cried in fear of losing ...it all to a pandemic, I’ve hustled, I’ve failed, I’ve adjusted, I’ve survived. Four years later I am not the naive 22 year old boss babe with a dream. I am a smart, take no shit, hard working, business woman. I have over 100 sessions under my belt, I fully book wedding seasons, I believe in my work and I love my job. I‘ve seen my photos in magazines, I’ve won awards, I’ve worked in different countries and I’ve made amazing friendships with incredible clients. I’ve watched you propose, welcome new babies, celebrate milestones, achieve lifelong goals and promise forever - all from behind my camera. Four years later I am grateful for the trust and love you have all shown me, for the support and endless loyalty. For the reviews and referrals, for showing me my photos hanging on your walls. I’ve spent the last four years documenting your dreams coming true and along the way, so did mine.

Winter is my favourite season and it is absolutely KILLLINGGGG me to not be out there doing wintery shoots like this one! I just want to be freezing my ass off, with couples that are madly in love - is that too much to ask for Fordyyyyy?!

What’s your dream job and do you have it?! I feel like this pandemic has forced people to really reevaluate their careers. Maybe your job was able to completely adapt or maybe it was like mine and flipped upside down! Even though this last year has taught me my job isn’t ideal forpandemics, not a single ounce of me would change it. Even if I have to plan my life two years in advance sometimes... So are you working your dream job? And if no, why not?!
