Feb 17, 2020 I found myself back at Elbow Falls, but this time it was for a sunset and shooting from below the falls. I appreciated this view a whole lot more . The landscape shot is from before the sun went down and it had a very warm feel and then the portrait orientation was from after the sun had dropped and the snow was on its way. I just got back to my car before the blizzard hit.

Jan 19, 2020 Morants Curve. I had missed the train by about 45 minutes according to a fellow photographer on site. I stayed there for about 25 minutes and captured a couple different frames. I did not have time to wait for another train as the wife and kid were patiently waiting in the car. Even with no train, these shots are very pleasing to me. I love how the light has leaked out of the clouds and poured onto the mountains.

Jan 19, 2020 Lake Louise after a heavy snow fall and a few days of -30 degrees. It was absolutely beautiful. So much white pillowy goodness.

Jan 4, 2020 Sunrise drive just SW of Calgary. I went to check out The Old Rothney Cabin area and found this great little composition using a nice low shooting position in the ditch. I love how the road winds it’s way to the sun, as well, as the nice set of antlers atop the entrance gate.
