Attention Lucid Families! Alberta health restrictions have been updated today; our classes will be moving back online starting tomorrow. Online Schedule:... Monday 500-540 Beginner Karate (White - Yellow) Lil' Hoppers welcome 545-625 Intermediate Karate (Orange - Green) 630-710 Advanced Karate (Blue +) Wednesday 500-540 Beginner Karate (White - Yellow) Lil' Hoppers welcome 545-625 Intermediate Karate (Orange - Green) 630-710 Advanced Karate (Blue +) 715-755 Fit&Flow (all belts) Friday 500-540 Beginner Karate (White - Yellow) Lil' Hoppers welcome 545-625 Intermediate/ Advanced Karate (Orange +) Saturday 1030-1110 Fit&Flow (all belts) * Each class is 40 minutes long and will have its own Zoom link associated with it. Zoom links will be emailed out tomorrow. * All ages are welcome in all of the classes * Students are expected to warm up prior to class, and be on time / prepared. * Students are able to attend their belt level class, as well as one level above. * These online classes will run until December 5th (regardless of the results from AHS on November 27th.) This was scheduled to be our last formal class of the year anyway. We will re-evaluate at that time. * Karate testing and the Student of the Season celebration will be postponed until further notice. Membership: * If your child will not be participating in the online classes, please let us know and we will either hold or credit the remainder of your membership. * All other memberships will be carried out for the remainder of the season online, and be renewed in January with whatever is to come! Important Update - Parents check your email :) Karate Testing - A few highlights: * Monday December 7th & Wednesday December 9th * 5:45pm-7:10pm ... * All belts are welcome (including white), though testing is only mandatory for students testing for blue belt + (currently green belt +) * If your child is not able to attend the online testing (and is currently green belt +) please let us know and we will accommodate * Self assessment form must be filled out and returned by Friday Dec 11th. * Zoom likes, rules and additional information available in email * * * * Student of the Season / Awards Celebration: * Saturday December 12th * 4pm - 5pm * Only students will sign into the zoom session, friends and family can watch the session broadcasted on Facebook live * Students are to be in full uniform Celebration will consist of: * 10-15 minute year end video * 10-15 minutes of live demo. Any student wishing to perform live on camera may do so * 10-15 minute belt promotions and awards * Additional information and video requirements available in email See you Monday!
