I have been a craft vendor there for over 20 years and I will be there again this Saturday coming up Celebrating 55 years! Join us on Saturday, April 6, 2019... The Elmira Maple Syrup Festival builds and strengthens community spirit through the involvement of a large number of area residents in the planning and operation of a one-day festival. Participation in a fun-filled day supported by 2000+ volunteers raises funds to support local charities and non-profit organizations. Since 1965, the Festival continues to promote our community, surrounding areas and local maple syrup producers. Few things are more Canadian than Maple Syrup & few places know how to celebrate it like the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival. Now entering its 55th year the festival has the distinction of being recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s largest 1-day maple syrup festival. Happy Earth Day today and every day Today its a special day for me not only because it is Earth day but because I am alive The things I do to honour mother Earth every day is Recycle and not eating animals product I have a compost box that I made with pallets or me should say 2 of them that I put in my scrap of fruit and vegetable and being Vegan and living on must fruit there are not many other things but whatever I get I find them a place eighter I use them or I discar...d them in a place that I see fit Last year I started to move a step further on the composting and because I eat pretty healthy I do humanure I do not use the toilet anymore and I use my own water I practice urine therapy so for me, it is a big step in helping the environment I am grateful to do just the simple things and simplified my life . I am very excited for a new year at the shows Looking forward to meet new happy souls 2019 in this moment is exciting and I cant think of a better way to express my love and passing on what I learn in the pass years from great masters Some of us may still be feeling the cold may still be feeling the cold, but not for much longer because the astronomical beginning of spring, marking the start of longer days, new blooms and warmer weather, is just one week away.... The March equinox (called the autumnal equinox in the Southern Hemisphere) has long been celebrated as a time of rebirth in the Northern Hemisphere. Spring-time festivals and holidays such as Easter and Passover are the main celebrations across many cultures as the path of the Sun aligns with the Earth's equator. I wont need a place to stay after all what I mention before a place to stay for 3 nights I found a perfect place in my tent and I can set it up in the back of the truck ( Gypsy ) and I will be happy.... Before I use to sleep in the truck nut is is very small and hard to meditate but the tent will be perfect and it is not the first time i sleep in the tent in the winter so all is well . Sometime it is good to go out of your comfort zone it is like exercise when you give th...e body some challenge then you get stronger and stronger and in this case physically and Spiritually I am grateful that no one offer and that is so good because it give me the opportunity for me to grow and that is compassion. Summer turn in to Autumn ,Autumn turn in to Winter and the fun begin I have lots of shows line up and I am doing one in London Ont and been having those one day show but the one in London is 4 days and as I mention before the craft show in London and I need a place to just sleep and meditate it is at the end of November precisely Nov 30 to Dec 3 would only need a bed to sleep and a place to meditate the rest of the time I be at the craft show .
