Lucky Dayz Fishing Expeditions

I took a big step for me today, computer wise anyway, I did my first blog posting on the www.luckydayz.ca website Check it out!

17 May, first day out this season. On Lake of the woods, Buffalo bay. I still need to get better at pictures, measuring, and weighing. 3 nice ones boated for pictures and released, seven home for dinner ( a couple dinners). Largest one we hooked was informally released by me before Eric could net it. 10 or 12 more we shook off at the boat.

Patiently waiting, will be out for first time this year before the long weekend is over!

While I will take bookings at this time, I will not be taking any charters out until some of the social distancing requirements are lifted, and I do not feel like disinfecting the complete boat every time I go out!

While tomorrow is the season opener for 2020 MB fishing season, I have decided I will not be out this weekend. main reasons are weather related, the ice has not left southern MB yet, although the Winnipeg river is mainly open, but the forecast high temp will be 9 C on Saturday and 2 C on Sunday. I do not need to dress in winter clothing to go fishing, I will wait and maybe next weekend.

Will test run the new prop first day on the water.
