My new favorite cookie recipe It has all the things I want in it and none of the things I don't. Many modifications available for different dietary preferences. Enjoy!

Sign and share this petition to ask the Treasury Board of Canada and the Partners Committee of the Public Services Health Care Plan to cover Acupuncture provided by Acupuncturists (rather than only MDs!). The PHSCP provides extended health benefits to over 600,000 federal employees yet it is near impossible for them to get Acupuncture covered unless performed by an MD! https://www.change.org/p/treasury-board-of-canada-public-se

Once again Brene does it. I really loved this podcast on Loneliness and Connection. There were so many gems that grabbing just one quote was challenging. "Creating a connected life begins with the decisions we make in our day to day lives. Do we chose to make time for people? Do we show up as our true selves? Do we seek out others with kindness, recognizing the power of service to bring us together? This work isn't always easy, it requires courage; the courage to be vulnerable, to take a chance on others, to believe in ourselves but as we build connected lives, we make it possible to build a connected world." Dr Vivek Murthy in his book Together *Grateful to be able to be doing the work that I am.

Poignant message about connection. Connecting with nature and connecting with ourselves can be powerful as we shrink our bubbles in September. How are you finding meaningful connection in your day to day?

Everyone's safety has always been of our utmost priority. For this reason masks will now be mandatory at the clinic. Thank you for your cooperation

There are some people who felt like they were rocking it at the beginning of all this. Some individuals are now flagging and you may wonder what is going on. As we go into September, remember to be gentle with yourself. We've been doing this for about 6 mos now and who knows how much longer we will need to keep going. I like how this article acknowledges that and lends some ways to reframe it. https://elemental.medium.com/your-surge-capacity-is-deplete
