Our creative community is truly inspirational. Last week, we enjoyed some wonderful examples of this... these people are my heroes!

It is important to emphasize that as a community, we have a responsibility to encourage participation, achievement and excellence. I'm proud to be involved in an organization that has done this so well. This article is a wonderful summary, although I have to admit that it gives me too much credit. The real driving force behind our success is our students who work so hard and then return to give back as proud alumni.

Today is the 30th anniversary of the Tiananmen massacre. We must always remember that democracy is worth preserving, worth fighting for.

The nomination didn't work out in my favour, but the sun always rises and there's another adventure around the corner. As long as I can find a beach, I can find a smile.
