Our fall term registration is FILLING UP FAST and this has been one of our most FAQS How do I tell which class is best suited for my baby at their current stage of development Our classes are split by development phase of the child, not the specific age. So ultimately it’s the grownup’s judgement call to make. The trick is to not worry about where you anticipate them to be in the future as this can be really unpredictable, so it’s easier to ...focus on their development at the moment when booking. Here’s a reminder of the class splits: Lullanewborns is suitable from newborn until sitting unsupported Lullababies is for those sitting completely unsupported until starting to toddle Lullatots is for those who are walking until 2 1/2 years old If you're still unsure after having read the guidance, please don't stress. It's not uncommon to have wobbling 8-month old sitters in Lullanewborns, and stable 6 month-olds in Lullababies. They all grow at their own pace. Here's our launch day cake that marked our first ever Lullaland class! Our first birthday was in March, but with the pandemic putting a screeching halt on the world it didn't feel like the time to celebrate. We’ve spent some time reflecting on our first year in business and just how much our baby has grown! We started with just 2 classes in St Vital, and in March we had multiple classes and locations throughout the city - its been a complete adventure to see th...is vision come to life. We quickly felt the city’s love for our concept - flying babies and grownups to magical Lullaland where the main attractions were bonding and celebrating in the amazement of your baby. Running a year of classes meant we got to experience our first round of graduates from the program. We also saw many friendships form in Lullaland and many grownups and babies meeting up for play dates (pre-covid!). It's been powerful to see a community grow and we're so disheartened to not be able to deliver our program to new families in Winnipeg right now. Nothing will replace our in-class experiential environment but we do have some exciting things in the works... So while we focus on plans for year 2, we’d like to raise a glass to one year of Lullaland. We created Lullaland with the goal of making parenthood easier and more enjoyable. We love being able to offer a fun, safe and social space for grown-ups to engage with their babies and encourage their development. It really saddens us that we can't do this right now. The COVID-19 crisis has led us to make the difficult decision to cancel our Spring Term. To grownups and our precious super babies! In light of the new Manitoba government advice regarding COVID-19, we will now be postponing all Lullaland classes until further notice. We really regret to take this step however the safety of our babies and community at large is paramount in these unprecedented times.
