We are delighted to announce that the recipient of the 2020 Marg Campbell Integrity in Leadership Award is Amanda Pearse who is the Manager, Community Based Mental Health at Lumenus Community Services. Amanda has been working in the social services field since 2004 in various capacities including; the community, drop ins, as a researcher, case manager, therapist and most recently as a manager in the children’s mental health field. Amanda works from an anti-racist, anti-oppres...sive and intersectional feminist stance that incorporate harm-reduction and trauma-informed practices. Amanda has worked for Lumenus Community Services for almost 10 years and has been a manager in the community based mental health services for the last 3 years. Amanda has been working diligently with her teams and partner organizations to ensure that the services she supports meet the needs of all youth while paying particular attention to the needs of 2SLGBTQ+ youth and youth of colour. Join us in congratulating Amanda and saying thank you for her commitment to youth.
