This is how ALL of the Lumsden Community Band prefers to read music.

IT'S HAPPENING! Monday at 7pm, the Lumsden Community Band will be performing in Lion's Park in Lumsden. We'll be physically distant, but we'll play extra loud so all our physically distancing friends can hear us! Pull up a lawn chair, a patch of physically distant lawn, or just take the dogs for a walk at 7pm on Monday, 27 July. ... If you're SUPER keen, you might catch an encore performance SOMEWHERE ELSE as your Band-About-Town bands about at about 8pm!

Missed playing your instrument with others? This program is for those who want to PLAY & develop more on their instrument while learning new pieces of music. P...articipants will receive both Masterclass and Sectional style instruction. Clinicians from the SBA video series as well as others will offer expert instruction. Keep your ears peeled around town as the Lumsden Community Band presents physically distant tunes throughout the valley. Often, of a Monday evening, you may be sitting on your deck when all of a sudden you hear the dulcet tones of Star Wars, or James Brown, or even a little Dixieland! Tap your toes and dance, hum, or hand jive (while staying safe in your bubble) whenever (and wherever) you hear the Lumsden Band!
