Hello mama. I see you. Busy, exhausted, emotionally drained, overwhelmed, feeling extra isolated, and maybe as if you don’t even know your own body anymore. Psst: You’re allowed to feel those things and more - even though you’re also filled with SO MUCH LOVE and joy. It’s all normal. ... Monday, January 11 11:30am - 12:30pm I will be guiding you through gentle movements on your mat. It doesn’t have to look like anything. Just feel. Yoga is a great way to connect with your physical and emotional self, to ease back into exercise to build strength & mobility, and to decrease inflammation (let’s be honest the benefits of yoga are endless!). Come to breathe. Come to move. Come to clear your mind. Come to connect with yourself and others. You do not need to have any yoga experience. Things to bring: your mat comfy clothing (warm socks!) water to stay hydrated coffee/tea or whatever you wish baby in car seat/carrier (plus all your babe’s essentials) cozy blanket for the floor (see below) If babe is happy in their seat for the entire class (lucky!) they can stay there. If not you can station them right beside you (or under you) on a cozy blanket (we can also use them as weights ). Things to note: If you’re able to leave baby at home attended, feel free to join for the movement + connection Age of babe is anywhere from 6 weeks up to 18 months (pre-walkers). Just testing out this time slot for a week so it might change next time! This is not a prenatal class. Monday, January 11 11:30am Baby & Me *a gentle, peaceful flow for you mamas. bring baby in your car seat/ carrier (or if you leave them attended at home you can still join!). Tuesday, January 12 9am Slow Hatha *a stretchy wake up to start your day and your week. perfect for beginners! Wednesday, January 13 6:30pm Yin + Yang *half fire, half water. build heat with some funky flows and then take it down to the floor to restore. this is a popular class (and one of my favourites!). beginners welcome! Friday, January 15 7:30pm PJ Party *gentle yoga + meditation. see event for details! **CLASS IS FULL** waitlist started. Saturday, January 16 9am Energizing Wake up *similar to the Monday slow flow, except a bit of a faster pace! All classes are 60 minutes. Some classes fill up fast! You must register in advance for the class via private message. Should you need to cancel, please give a minimum of 6 hours notice for evening classes, and 12 hours for morning classes. Hi guys! I’m super excited to be offering this series for beginners! This Intro to Yoga is a great place to start your practice or to dive back in.... Whether you’re new to yoga completely, or you’re a continuing student interested in reconnecting to the fundamentals, this 4-part series will be the perfect guide. This series will cover: foundations of yoga sun salutations standing postures seated and reclined poses modification options using props intro to vinyasa style flow intro to yin concept and postures different pranayama (breath control) techniques mudras (hand gestures/poses) the effects and benefits of asana (postures) plus probably a lot more This course is going to be jam-packed with info because 1) I’m obsessed with yoga and want everyone to learn it , and 2) I truly want you to be able to deepen your practice and your yoga experience All you need is your mat and an open heart (and probably some water). All props will be provided. A journal/notebook is optional if you want to take notes, but it’s not necessary. Sundays 10:30am - 11:15am January 24 - February 14, 2021 This is a month long commitment; each class will build on the previous one so drop ins are not available. Investment is $90. PLEASE NOTE: Movement will not be for the entire 75 minutes; these classes will be a balance of lecture, practice/integration, and interaction. Modification options for a safe practice will always be offered and encouraged. This is a welcoming and non-competitive space. These will be led group classes, not a private one-on-one. If this does not feel supportive enough for your individual needs, private sessions are also available. Contact for more info
