Meet our amazing Dental Hygienists! Meaghan (left) and Amanda (right) are excellent at assessing your gum health. They help prevent oral disease using therapeutic and educational tools. Meaghan is from New Brunswick, but has lived in Calgary for seven years after completing her dental hygiene program in Montreal. She speaks French! Amanda is from Calgary and loves working in the same community she grew up in. They both have been working for over 10 years and take pride in providing thorough and comfortable dental care.

This is a photo of me (Dr. Parekh) and Bruna, the woman who inspired me to name the office Luna Dental! Last summer I was travelling in Italy and we visited an island near Venice called Burano. Bruna was working at a small lace shop in Burano. She asked what my name was. She couldn’t pronounce it after several tries. She then asked me what my name meant and I told her it meant moonlight. She was very excited to call me Luna, which is Italian for moon. Not only did I buy a beautiful lace dress which she had made by hand, but I left her shop with the idea to name my practice Luna Dental! #lunadentalnw #burano #yycdentist

Implant study club is a group of dentists in Calgary who meet regularly to discuss and do implant and bone grafting surgeries under the supervision of Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, Dr. Lyle Pidzarko.
