Let there be light.

My very great friend donated a cool desk and with scraps laying around the shop I was able to make a kick a$$ light table to make weeding easier.

This week was a wonderful week. I was able to collaborate with a wonderful woman, Liz Jenkin (my mother) to make a well deserved gift for another amazing woman/artist as a thank you. Nancy is a very talented and big hearted friend of my mother's. She does amazing work with wood. A style of her own. Her business is Wood Creations from the Heart and can be found on Facebook. My mother asked me to creat something to depict her work. I didn't know the meaning and had to look it up. Nothing I could do could show the true talent that Nancy posses but I made sure I gave it my best shot .

Got bored on some slow days and decided to get creative thinking of some cool gift ideas for Christmas or whatever. Love seeing my creativity come to fruition. Side note: my creativity did not make up these words. Only presentation and production.

Apparently my truck tent isn't kosher here. Waiting around now to see if I can borrow a tent from the fine staff of Burwell park otherwise camping may be cut short.

Created a new logo for lunchbox in vinyl and couldn't wait to throw it on the truck. I absolutely love it.

A good friend of mine loved my work so much he actually wanted one of his own. Lol. Crazy.

Continuation of the light box. Made him a stand for it as well.

Got another challenging project from my mother as she knows I'm not as motivated unless it's a challenge. As she's so ellegently named it "the mug shot".

Grandpa very happy with his present. 90th birthday present. So many more to follow thankfully as he's a great man to look up to.

Mother asked me what the meaning of this was. By her comment I guess it's because of the joker statue and Apple peeler on display in side. She said "So it means ,A joke and an apple a day keeps the TV away". I replied with "if it means anything, it means 'don't lend Ryan your TV.' " In all actuality, I own nothing that could be displayed except those two things. Haha

So this is kinda cool. Inherited a dog cage. (I don't own a dog but I try not to pass up taking someone's garbage. ). Fixed it up and not being allowed to bring it in the house I decided to make use of it. If anyone is looking to purchase a dog crate I can let it go for cheap. It now has small drain holes in the bottom nicely spaced out.

With corona ruining people's lives it's time to redirect your thoughts to how you can make best use of your time. As we are to avoid social contact it's time to make the best of it and make your favourite room as comfortable and fun as possible. I personally am a fan of my bedroom as it's much more ventilated than my basement shop that kills my sinuses. Gotta keep up with my hobby and passion so being I'm confined to this home I have the imagination and means to make best of... an otherwise boring situation. Like I've done with every project that was worth my time I also hurt myself. Proud of the injury as well. Not a cut. Punctured with a Phillips bit. In a spot I like to believe most haven't experienced. If you aren't accustomed to injuries as I am and as skilled in applying first or second aid to yourself I suggest take caution. Lol. The base of the project was provided by a very skilled woman from Woodstock and lucky me she wanted to clear up space Here it is. Adding injury photo as well as it's sooooo cool. Haha. Anyone have any idea what design goes best with this shape? something that will sell... lol

If you've been following my posts you will know the bumps in the road that could have knocked me on my ass. Not a donkey. My butt. This may be edited later for language due to my mom teaching me manners and right from wrong. Lol Here is video proof that hard work and patience really can pay off. I wasn't going to give up. Until Monday. Haha

Never underestimate yourself. It's only doubt that holds you down. With patience and knowing that if you put in the time, you are capable of anything you tell yourself. Never look at anything as a problem. There are no problems in life. There are challenges you can always overcome. With the right mind set and believing in yourself while knowing that you are special in your way you can always prevail. Never give up. You can do alot more than you'd think.

Update on machine. Currently still not working. Came home to some candle wax on my laptop. Being up most of the night trying to fix the machine and stop stressing I seem to have accidentally left the candle going on my melting pot. Made it myself. Maybe a few kinks. Posting pics of the evidence. You can figure out what happens. Lol

Life is a series of challenges. Opportunity is prove yourself and overcome. You don't win by giving up. Tonight my machine broke down and over 4 hours of trying it still isn't working. Plenty more ideas to try. Everything will work out as it's supposed to be. I have faith I'll be back up and running soon. Sad moment when it broke but I'll never doubt my path and that fuels me. valuable lesson learned tonight. Totally floored. My first idea failed so I changed it to something better. Second idea was missing something so I changed it. Third idea didn't work when I noticed the condition of the tote. Now finally I hope, the Fourth idea I think is going to be better than the rest. This makes me happy. Me and everything I have around me ended up compromising and now tomorrow we are going to wow the shit out of people. (At least that's what in my head ). All because everything around me communicated in some way and worked as one to hopefully (100% sure on this) to make people smile. I feel amazing. P.s. I hope I have time to finish it tomorrow. Lol

Some of you may have seen my post or posts with the infinity pod. I apologize to all that missed the experience. I consulted with my son about tonight's decision and he agreed with me so I'm 100% confident with the decision to take it apart. It was a prototype and an idea that took a very long time to make. That is in the past and the lessons learned by building it will always be with me. Once taken apart and the parts I want are taken out I hope to build something better a...nd if I'm not satisfied the parts will go towards a new idea eventually. I have an amazing idea but building my ideas make no money and I'm so grateful to those people who were kind enough to allow me to pick up the parts to make it. Those parts were useless to the previous owners but one of the reasons I do what I do are to show people that nothing is unwanted. Belongings, pets, people and even the things we would never think of can and will always be something to someone. Nothing in this world is invaluable. Everything has a place in this world that holds equal importance to the next things. I guarantee you that nothing from this...I'll call it a transformation....will be discarded. While I find value in others discarded "junk" these things also have no value until the right person comes along. I will always continue my work in one way or another as I love what I do and I hope one day the world can realize everything around them is as valuable as anything else and never take anything for granted. I do my best to wow people and hopefully amaze as well because what better way to make someone remember this valuable lesson? Peace out. See more

Sorry about the hour . Finished my project. If my birthday follows the theme of every other birthday I'm sure you will hate it. It could possibly burn my nose. The only feature on this hideous face I don't want to smack. . Totally messing. Signed copies of my artwork by Cheech and Chong. You can figure out which ones they took home by power of deduction if you check out the other pictures and videos. Getting approval from those two is the next best thing to your parents in my eyes. A very happy moment.

Unfortunately this is all I had done. It was kind of last minute and I had lots of other things to prepare. I'm still impressed with myself. The records on average took me between 3-5 hours to make not including design time . Alot of sleepless nights. Worth every second. Just meeting them alone was probably the biggest night of my life. I've way he's them countless times every year and grew up watching them. The only thing I was nervous about besides getting done in time(whic...h I didn't), I was worried I'd meet them and they end up being assholes. Lol. They exceeded my expectations and I walk away an even bigger fan. Cheech and Chong are still my absolute favourite. I will add pictures of the remaining records. I was so happy when they accepted two as a gift. The guy there told them not to sign their own. I said it'll make them look more authentic. Haha I walked away a bit disappointed as I didn't explain the process well enough. Nobody understands the time and patience involved. See more
