Community members have been asking if the walking track at the Lundar Arena is open. Yes, it is. Below are the rules that all visitors must adhere to. Using the... walking track: - Entrance will be through the marked doors on the main entrance. -Upon arrival, every individual entering the building is to use the hand sanitizer located in the main lobby. -All visitors must sign in using the electronic sign in instructions (or pen and paper sign in as a backup plan) - Physical distancing of 2 meters (6ft) is required within the facility at all times. - Masks are required to be worn at all times. - Direction is marked on walking track, users are required to follow direction arrows. - When done, signage is posted to show where to exit the arena. Attention to all who enter the Lundar Arena: Grettir has decided to start using an electronic sign in system using a QR code/link for our arena. Several arenas are already using this and they have provided us with great feedback on it. This alleviates congestion in the entrance, using the same pen to sign in and it tracks all visitors with a timestamp on an excel spreadsheet incase we need to do covid tracing. When visitors enter the arena, there will be a QR code with instru...ctions. You open your phone camera, put it in front of the code and the covid screening tool will pop up. It is very user friendly. Another option is to use the following link when you are on your way to the arena https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx The QR code and the link both provide the answers to the spreadsheet. There will still be a pen and paper as a back-up but we are strongly encouraging that everyone use the electronic sign in. This is in place as of today. See more
