Hey curling kids! We all started somewhere, how it ends up, is up to you!
THANKS EVERYONE! Our Night Crawlers Wine Survivor COVID-19 edition (aka Season 4) was a huge success! With 70 entries, and an overwhelming # of ‘Buy backs’ a donation of $1940 has been made to our LCC!! In a year where everything feels oh so different and a little less simple, we cannot thank ALL of you enough for supporting and taking part in this event. ... I also want to give big thanks to those who helped promote this fundraiser. Of course, this event wouldn’t be this event without Ashlee Feener front and centre with me, albeit socially distanced, and Lorne Spence who was fielding the live stream! We hope you were entertained. We missed having our live audience greatly! Now for those of you who were not able to watch, I’m sure you’re all wanting to hear who survived and thrived at the final tribal Council! First place: Andrew Blanchard (35 bottles of wine!) Second place: Katelyn Clarke (21 bottles of wine!) Third place: Karen Hanlon (14 bottles of wine!) Big Congratulations to our winners! Wishing Everyone the Safest of Holidays! We look forward to seeing everyone when we return in 2021 ready to have a fantastic 2nd half to our LCC Season! Be Safe. Be well. Kim Hanlon
Happy Belated 90th Birthday to Jean McKiel!
We have a Winner! Congratulations to Blair Mansfield, the winner of the Members Only 50/50 draw of $643.00! Many thanks to our new and returning members for choosing to join the Lunenburg Curling Club this year. Your support is greatly appreciated!
