Always something new to see at sea. This is apparently a skeleton shrimp and there were hundreds on a mooring rope. Some are invasive, but I haven't found out which ones.

The good thing about not running the business this summer is that I get to take advantage of nice days and go to fresh, moving water for a change. No big whitewater, but a chance to get wet and play on some little waves.

Sorry, Lunenburg Paddling will NOT be opening this season due to COVID-19.

No chance for white water kayaking on rivers, but Back Harbour had 3 foot waves today and they needed someone to play on them.

Got out over the last couple of days to survey the effect of very high tide during a cold night. Also a juv eagle through the fog and got to play for a while in my local tidal race.
