I’ve seen SO many posts about lash extensions and how they’re damaging to natural lashes. This is (unless it meets one of the criteria below) a myth. Lash extensions arent damaging to natural lashes UNLESS they are applied incorrectly such as: 1) gluing numerous lashes together or numerous extensions to one natural lash, 2) using too much glue or an incorrect type of glue... 3) someone applies clusters instead of extensions (common at nail salons) 4) a lash that’s too long or thick (too heavy) for the natural lash to support. 5)rubbing your eyes excessively can pluck them out. Take care of your lash extensions by: 1) cleaning them (google search lash mites if you don’t think this is necessary) 2) Don’t use oils near your lashes 3) Don’t use MASCARA (you won’t need it anyway ) with lash extensions. Always ask to see someone’s certification (it shows they SHOULD know what they’re doing Also, ask if they have a BUSINESS LICENCE. (it will show that they take their work seriously). So don’t be afraid of lash extensions. Also, lash lifts are another option (and cost way less AND are WAY less upkeep), but make sure those are done by a licensed professional too! I was just called from Alberta health services that someone complained that I am still open during this shut down. Hey lovely ladies!!! Soo we have entered stage 1 of opening up after covid. EYELASHES falls in stage 2! When that time comes I will be open FULL TIME! No other job!!
