Hey, Lushies! We get so many questions about what Self-Preserving means, so we wanted to give you a full rundown! Here at Lush, Self-Preserving means that those products are synthetic preservative-free, but it could still include natural forms of preservation. Natural ways of preservation we use are removing water, which stops bacteria growth or adding ingredients like salt and honey. All of our Packaging-Free and solid products are self-preserving as they have no water cont...ent and do not grow bacteria. Some of our products that do have synthetic preservatives, like Mask of Magnaminty, have a Self-Preserving counterpart. They occasionally have slight texture differences; for example, the Self-Preserving Mask of Magnaminty has more honey in it than its counterpart. Hi Oshawa Lushies! We know everyone has been waiting patiently to know how this lockdown will impact your shopping experience. Here are the details 1. Our store will start offering Stage 4 tomorrow! - and this means that you will be able to shop with us inside the store with a limited guest capacity. Things might also look a bit different as we've limited our product displays to ensure that you are always getting fresh items straight from the box as well as naked product will be bagged for a contact less shopping experience. And... you can expect these safety precautions from our team: we will ask all customers to sanitize your hands once entering our shop, our teams will not be offering demos, our staff will be staying a safe distance away from you at all times, we will be wiping down all payment tools like pin pads after each use, and each team member will be wearing masks.
