What are WE at Luv 2 Dance USA Luv 2 Dance Competition Inc. And Move With The Beat doing you keep YOU safe over the coming months??? We want nothing more than to keep YOU and our Team safe while providing a rewarding, fun and memorable experience during such challenging times. Just because it will look different doesnt mean it cannot be done and rewarding.... Can these protocols change? Absolutely.... but we are working with how our times are RIGHT NOW and we will adjust accordingly should the Governing bodies allow us to. As a Competition Director who has not just attended 1 but SIX Competitions/Conventions DURING a pandemic, in many DIFFERENT states and flown and travelled to many of them.... I can speak WITH EXPERIENCE. We are well, safe and grateful for those Directors who continued to run their events for our dancers and dance families alike who wanted to hit the stage and show off their hard work especially during our current challenges. We at L2D, MWTB & L2D USA want to provide the same opportunities and experiences that we have been fortunate to have take place for our own dancers. EXCITING NEWS!!! Its official!!!! Our OCTOBER 2-4th, 2020 Luv 2 Dance Competition Inc.. Is a GO! Finally the time has come and we received some incredible feedback from our studios! We are certain we can create a SAFE and REWARDING experience for all of those wanting to participate! How do we know how?! Because we physically attended 6 phenomenal competition events run During a pandemic Post Lockdown! Those Competition Directors did a phenomenal job and our dancers we...re incredibly grateful as were all that made it to the stage this season! These dancers deserved that opportunity and I was grateful that these competitions went to extreme measures to provide these experiences for my dancers no matter how modified their events were. I had tears of joy as did many others being able to finally witness our kids take the stage again after a long season of hard work, challenges, tears and determination. We have over 10 studios participating and if you would like to participate and havent already let us know, please do so THIS week! We are working on the complex schedule and I can only implement you into the schedule before the preliminary schedule is completed and we are working on this over the weekend. Because of the blocked studio format we have to implement we cannot accept studios after the blocks are scheduled (or once full and we are already approaching that capacity being at 400 entries currently). There are a lot of safety measures and guidelines we must follow and are working non stop to ensure every step is implemented. Participating Studio Directors please note that the Online Registration system is now LIVE for this event and we have sent a VERY DETAILED email outlining the steps and timeline to complete this. Due to the event being only 6 weeks away the online registration MUST BE completed by Friday at NOON. We must know today if you are already participating but did not receive that email. Happy Tuesday! Just a little dancer motivation as Canada begins the stage 3 process and Dance is beginning to resume for most of Ontario This week. The reward of hard work and the feeling of accomplishment is always wort...h it Happy Dancing and the stage will be waiting!!! We are living proof of it and will be there very very soon Ontario!!! Hang in there! Youve come this far!!!! We will be crying joyful tears this fall prayerfully when we finally set the stage for our dance families!!! We you and cannot wait to be there with you sharing the stage, the memories and the experiences again with you! We are working diligently behind the scenes!!! We never give up! We also want to thank Shake The Ground for showing us this past weekend that Dance Competitions and Conventions can safely run! I will do a proper post (end of this week) to be very detailed on How incredible this past event we attended was. We had the most rewarding experience ourselves attending their Nationals that was full of dance, joy, passion, events like pool parties and movie night in addition to conventions and a beautifully modified gala. Yes audiences were possible with safety upheld as the priority! Masks always except on stage for the dancers while performing. Private dressing rooms, sanitization and temperature checks at its best! Amazing staff, patient backstage team members who ensured the block schedule didnt stress our dancers and kept our dance families feeling safe while doing what they love and anxiously awaited for MONTHS! Many of us cried tears including myself at the Gala as we concluded the weekend of pure rewarding memories and desired stage time. A true competition experience in a modified world!! Our 47th Featured Grad Dancer is from DanceTastic Studio CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BEAUTIFUL JULIA Although I only joined for my last year, my experience at DTS was extremely enjoyable. To my great delight, I was able to meet new people and make connections that made my last year memorable. I would also like to thank the teachers I have had this year, for hosting the classes and making them very engaging whilst also helping the dances reach their full potential. I enjoyed all of my classes and DanceTastic only helped continue my love for dance to grow. Overall, I had a great experience that I will remember fondly, even if the year ended abruptly.
