Hi, my name is Tacee French. I am in Grade 6 at the Elmer Elson Elementary School in Mayerthorpe. I enjoy helping on the farm, playing sports and showing cows.... This is my 3rd year in the Mayerthorpe 4-H Beef Club. I enjoy 4-H because you get a chance to meet new people and you are always learning. I like Achievement Day and that you can look back and see what you have accomplished in the year and all the great memories you have made. 4-H has taught me how to run a meeting, public speaking skills, and how to feed and groom my 4-H projects. My steer this year is named Red Brick, he is a Simmental steer I picked from our family's cow herd. I have worked very hard to have my steer finished and ready for you! My name is Tayden French and my steer's name is Red Eye. He is a red and white Simmental steer I chose from our farm. This is my second year in 4-H as a membe...r and I was a clever for 1 year. I showed cows before joining 4-H but I joined 4-H because I want to learn more about showing, clipping, grooming and feeding cows. My favorite part of 4-H is the show! 4-H has taught me that I do not like public speaking and keeping books but I know they are good skills to have. I am in Grade 5 at the Elmer Elson Elementary. When I am not helping on the farm I like to play hockey and build Meccano. Red Eye is always friendly and comes to the fence to see me, we are good friends! I have a slaughter spot booked at Lundstrom Custom Cutting or am willing to take Red Eye to where you choose. Thank you to Venom Energy for purchasing my steer last year.
