Have you heard about the YYJ Craft Crawl yet? The YYJ Craft Crawl is like a wine tour or a christmas light tour... but for local crafters! We know you have been... missing all your favourite vendors, due to the lack of markets.... and they miss you too. If you want to support your local crafter this fall/holiday season, be sure to check out the craft crawl. We are putting together 4 events- 3 local events and 1 giant event. At these events, vendors will be set up in the homes for you to stop by and do some one-on-one shopping. Here is the list of events: Saturday, October 17th (10-4pm) - YYJ Craft Crawl- Westshore & Sooke - Vendors from Sooke, Metchosin, Langford, Colloid & the Highlands will be set up. Saturday, October 24th (10-4pm) - YYJ Craft Crawl- Victoria, Saanich, Esquimalt - Vendors from View Royal, Victoria, Saanich, Esquimalt & Vic West will be set up. Saturday, November 7th (10-4pm) - YYJ Craft Crawl - Saanich Peninsula - Vendors from Brentwood Bay, Sidney, North Saanich, Saanichton & Up to the Beaver lake/Cordova Bay area will be set up. Sat, Nov. 14th & Sun, Nov. 15th (10-4pm)- YYJ Craft Crawl (The Big One) - Vendors from Sidney to Sooke, thats right everyone below the malahat, will be set up! We are very excited to welcome a brand new vendor to the market this year- White's Greens! It is be great to have a local farmer at the market this year. Eric is a local Metchosin Farmer who sells a variety of organic fruits, veggies, herbs and micro greens all year round. You will find him selling tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuces, root vegetables, micro greens, melons and herbs at all the market this summer! Grown for nutrition, eaten for taste. We are super excited to welcome back Anywhere Icecream Co to the market this summer! They are a fairly new company, that just started last summer, run by the amazing locals you already know and love, Ashley & Kyle from The Dope Soap & Co. Anywhere Icecream Co carries a large array of delicious foothills canadian ice-cream. Along with ice-cream, you may find ice-cream sandwiches, freezies and other yummy treats at their booth throughout the summer. They will be set up at the market on July 15, 22, 29, August 12, 19 and September 2nd. We are so excited to welcome them back! We know summer is still months away but we are super excited to announce that Molly's Fish and Chips will be returning to the market this summer! They are a small family run food truck that you can mainly find in Metchosin, BC. The items you can find at their food truck, of course includes Fish & Chips, but you can also find items like mushy peas, poutine and occasional specials like deep fried pickles. You can find them at the market on July 8, 15, 22 and August 12, 19, 26. We hope you are as excited as we are, that they will be joining us this season.
