We have begun a new phase making medical equipment. We will be closing out Property Solutions division for the duration of the epidemic. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we are fully committed to helping the front line with PPE. Thanks all for your support and understanding. https://www.facebook.com/The-Lamble-Shield-103062921386084/

A public message to the Government of Canada, the Ontario Nurses Association, The College of Physicians and Surgeons, Health Canada, etc. I have been building ...a device to help shield the faces of workers exposed to the Covid 19 virus. The device is being made by one of a multiple number of volunteers as an aid in the present Covid 19 international emergency. It is being offered to qualified parties at no cost, for limited use by the qualified parties subject to the terms of It is not a medical device, and is not approved or regulated by any government or non government agency or authority. It has no warranty nor does it come with any claims. It is headwear designed to hold a clear barrier. Our doctors, nurses, and other front line workers are at risk of infection. Yet we are being denied the ability to provide them with our temporary aid to use at their own expert discretion until approved medical devices become available. You have limited the freedoms of every Canadian citizen as a result of this emergency. You have broken our rules and freedoms. Freedom to congregate, or have safe passage without fines. We Canadians gladly accept these transgressions of our freedoms for the greater good. We are proud to do whatever it takes to help. If I may use an analogy: Your house is on fire. The fire department has been called. They are coming to put out the fire. They are a long way away though. Your neighbours are rushing over with their little fire extinguishers to help beat back the flames until the big truck arrive. And you want to inspect out fire extinguishers to be sure that the inspection tags have not expired. They may not work as designed, they may not work at all. They might even explode. Do you want us to turn around and go home while you wait for the trucks? Don’t forget that the trucks may stop at other calls before they get to your house. There are a lot of others along the way. And they are using hundred dollar bills to flag them down. Your family is in the house. Do you want us to try these expired extinguishers? Maybe they still work. Perhaps this rule, designed to protect our medical workers, could be temporarily lifted under the circumstances as it is clearly a barrier to their protection. The device I am proposing can be made by any average citizen. We cannot make ventilators or N95 masks. We can make these devices though. They cost $3 to make. They take 3 minutes to manufacture. One man could make 160 masks in one day. 2500 citizens could make 1,000,000 in less than three days. If you ask us to, we will. We are many. We are powerful We are Canadians and we will help. Please let us try. Thank you to the doctors and nurses on our front lines. No matter what you have to wear, we know that you will be heroes in the coming days. And for that we thank you and are proud of you. Sincerely Charlie Lamble. [email protected] Please share.
