Family Forever Registered Massage Therapy

Good morning everyone! I wanted to give another update as you most likely have heard the recent updates that health care professions are being given the go ahead for a controlled return to work. We have been directed that if unprepared for a return to work at this time, we are not required to open, but if we are ready for clients, that the treatment of emergency cases is allowed in a slow and controlled manor as we ease back into a (hopefully) more normal work schedule. At... this point in time, I am uncertain which RMTs in the area are planning to reopen but I will keep an ear out and post sources here if/ when I do get word so if you do require urgent massage care, you will have an idea of some places you can still receive treatment. I personally will be keeping my practice closed for the long haul as I still don’t feel the benefits outweigh the risks in this scenario. I am a high risk person myself, as well as having immunocompromised family members that I don’t want to jeopardized any exposure to. ***COVID-19 UPDATE*** Hello everyone! Due to the increasing risk of the Covid-19 virus, it is with a heavy heart that I have decided I will be suspending all massage appointments for March.... The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and Chiropractors have sent out a notice this afternoon to all of their registrants recommending the closure of all non-essential healthcare services during this ever changing pandemic. With much consideration, I will be following through with this recommendation for the safety of my clients and the general public by cancelling all appointments until further notice. We must put our safety first and take all of the necessary precautions to help limit the spread of this coronavirus. Once April arrives, the situation will be reassessed and if we see improvements at that time, I will be re-opening online booking, rescheduling cancelled appointments and taking new bookings again.
