Probably you have heard the GOOD NEWS....... Registered Massage Therapists are allowed to provide services once again but ONLY when a written prescription or referral is provided to our clinic and uploaded into our charting system. UPDATE: As per the update provided by the Chief Medical Officer of Health, massage therapists are able to resume immediately providing services under the following guidelines:... 1. All clients must have either a written prescription from a Medical Doctor or a written referral from a regulated health professional Full list of approved regulated health professionals can be found here: https://www.alberta.ca/regulated-health-professions.aspx a. An existing written prescription is only valid if issued within the last 12 months. b. An existing written referral is only valid if issued within the last 12 months. c. A copy of the original written prescription or written referral is acceptable. d. The written prescription or written referral must be provided prior to receiving treatment. e. A copy of the written prescription or written referral must be kept in the client’s file. The frown had begun Way back in the Spring, When a global pandemic Changed everything. They called it corona, But unlike the beer, It didn’t bring good times, It didn’t bring cheer. Airplanes were grounded, Travel was banned. Borders were closed Across air, sea and land. As the world entered lockdown To flatten the curve, The economy halted, And folks lost their nerve. From March to July We rode the first wave, People stayed home, They tried to behave. When summer emerged The lockdown was lifted. But away from caution, Many folks drifted. Now it’s November And cases are spiking, Wave two has arrived, Much to our disliking. It’s true that this year Has had sadness a plenty, We’ll never forget The year 2020. And just ‘round the corner - The holiday season, But why be merry? Is there even one reason? To decorate the house And put up the tree, Who will see it, No one but me. But outside my window The snow gently falls, And I think to myself, Let’s deck the halls! So, I gather the ribbon, The garland and bows, As I play those old carols, My happiness grows. Did you know? Most of my clients underestimate how long it takes to recover from a cosmetic surgery. Every Body is Unique and the duration of recovery is different for every one. Some recover withing a couple of weeks, for some it takes months or even longer.... Liposuction usually creates pooling of excess lymphatic fluids which results in swelling, discomfort and tightness for the patient.
