Still love the row boat the best!!
Marianna and I had the pleasure of assisting with a wedding at Evans Lake yesterday. We tended bar which we both enjoy doing because we get to personally meet all the wedding guests! Bride and groom shared an intimate ceremony amongst the trees and then enjoyed 'docktail' hour on the huge lake deck. Thanks Erin and Abdul for allowing us to share your truly memorable day.
I had the pleasure of setting up a Roaring 20s garden party at a beautiful home in Squamish. The weather was gorgeous and the residence has some of the best views around. It is often a fun challenge setting up in a home as you need to combine the chosen theme to decor that is already there, but I think it worked out. And although the pool beckoned more than a few times, my toes stayed dry. Enjoy!
A great part of being a planner is learning new skills that will enhance your special event. Last Friday I took part in Floral Design 101 at Billie's Flower House in Squamish. Now, designing a floral element for your celebration will be a breeze. Thanks to Billie's creative designer Alannah for such an enjoyable and educational evening. Make sure to visit this great little shop - it will enlighten your senses!
Felicidades! Hosted a Rotary Foundation Dinner and was thrilled to use some decor items from my Portuguese heritage. What can be better than dining with my favourite rooster...Galo de Barcelos is the national symbol of Portugal. It symbolizes honesty, integrity, trust and honor.
Your dinner table is eye candy for your guest. Never underestimate the power of a well placed vase.
A collection of banquet hall design and decor for a formal evening of celebration.
This is a great example of choosing your favourite theme colour and carrying it through your reception decor.
For those couples who are lovers of natural and earthy elements.
We had an interesting speaker at the Rotary Club of Squamish a few weeks ago...Naomi from Cutting Barriers. Excellent presentation ending with a heartfelt plea for some raffle prize items for their fundraiser. I enjoy putting together baskets and came up with this local brewery inspired delight. Please check out and support www.cuttingbarriers.org and www.backcountrybrewing.com.
