The 2015 year end real estate sales statistics are in, and we couldn't ask for better news! In 2015 we saw a greater number of residential sales, a higher average sale price, and properties sold in a shorter amount of time than they did in the previous year. The number of residential real estate sales in the Niagara Region rose from 6,241 in 2014 to 7,286 in 2015 - that's a 16.7% increase in sales in 1 year! The average sale price rose from $251,446 to $272,724 - that's a 8.5...% increase in residential average sale price. Lastly, the average days on market decreased from 61 in 2014 to 55 in 2015 - that's a -7.6% change.
