Lynn had previously orchestrated our daughter, Adrienne’s beautiful wedding in Banff so who to call when our son, Peter had his wedding venue cancelled and plans altered due to Covid this summer? The wedding was moved to our backyard to a much more condensed family list. Lynn , Jody and her team used all the top notch social distancing protocols to create a marquis moment and magical event. The pictures of happi...ness speak for themselves. Overzealous mosquitos- no problem-massive hail storm two days earlier at our home, simply work and replant-. Rip in bride’s dress -all solved by Lynn’s magical kit and team! We were in their capable hands navigating in a troubled time but nothing seemed to fluster them. The focus was on the couple being celebrated that day and their dedication was incredible. Teatro’s restaurant also shone that night by providing a meal and appetizers that were outstanding featuring the best of Alberta. Pez productions kept us dancing on a socially distanced floor and the lighting on the outdoor tent ceiling was gorgeous. With all the protocols spearheaded by Lynn and her team -no one got sick! I would hire Lynn and her team for any event I had such as a birthday, corporate dinner or Stampede party. Did you know that Lynn also helped organize the drive through High school graduations at the Stampede grounds complete with photo booths - our youngest child , Anna, was so happy to have had a grad this past June with her school. Sometimes we forget that the best talent in the country may lie in our own backyard and that is Lynn Fletcher and her team! July 2020 - seems like a lifetime ago. The event world is evolving as fast as possible to face all the new challenges that COVID creates. You have to understand and respect the very real and significant dangers that are a part of our world. You deal with facts and figures. The science behind how a virus moves. It comes down to an incredible logistics plan. Thinking through all of the pinch points, and contact for all the individuals. ... Where are you guests coming from? What are their age demographics? Are they immune compromised or at increased risk? How do we move forward? Back in July it was a lot easier. We were able to have our events outdoors. The case numbers were lower. We were able to have all our guests go for an asymptomatic test the week of the wedding. The peace of mind knowing that everyone at the event had, had a negative test. There were still physical distancing measures, there was a reduced guest count, there were still sanitizers and masks promoted.
