Hello beautiful fans! Like many other performing artists, the pandemic precautions have had an effect on us recently. We, as well, are saddened to announce our ...April 3 performance at the Newcastle Pub and Grill will be postponed. The Lynne Chwyl Band does have an engagement on May 2 at Passport Restobar; however, that may also require postponement depending on the status of the government restrictions/ban at that time. During this time of uncertainty and public health risk, we want to remind you all to take every precaution to protect yourself and others. And most of all, be kind, helpful, generous, and considerate. Stay positive! Or in the words of Lynne’s wise daughter be a good human. When we reunite in public once again, oh how glorious your company will be! We look forward to that reunion!

Hello Edmonton! I’ve been so on top of the world here and so busy This is truly the Mecca of blues! The talent here is nothing short of MIND BLOWING!! We gave ...it our best, and although none of the acts from Alberta are advancing, we were so honoured to stand in the midst of sooooo many talented people! Graham Guest, Debra Power, Mike Clark, Brett Spaulding, Thom Moon - you guys were beyond stellar! So proud of our Alberta Talent! To my band - David Aide, Jeff Bartlett, Percy Marshall, Greg Pretty, Rosemarie Siever, I could not have asked for greater talent, support, and friendship from you all. Stand tall - you were simply incredible! We will take away such great memories, new friendships, and an even deeper love for the wide expanse of blues styles! Now to see the sights, relax and actually see Memphis. She’s got so much character, this city! Today I’ll walk to the banks of the mighty Mississippi River, take a ride on the trolley, take my mom shopping and tonight cheer on our favourites in the semi finals. It’s been SUCH a ride! Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this awe-filled journey. Special thanks to Rosalynn Ruptash and Cindy McLeod for taking me under their wing. Thanks to Vinny Marini for the chat we had yesterday, thanks to Harpdog Brown and Mike Clark for the jam fun on Beale, and thanks to the Edmonton Blues Society for allowing us the experience of every second of this wild adventure!!
