Kia ora everyone, Here is a few pics of my latest mahi , and probably the most heart felt piece I have carved to date. Aotearoa - topograpic carving ... Ti Kiwi My home, that I am so far away from that I miss so much. Every second of this carving was done with a NZ playlist on in the background, me thinking about Whnau back home and wondering what they are doing, and how my old mates are doing. There were moments I had streams of memories flooding back. During the final stages, as I was putting on a coat, the national Anthem just came on randomly and I smiled and my eyes watered. Doing this mahi brought me happiness and comfort
