The wildfire smoke had cleared over the weekend, and steep, green mountains were once again visible in the distance. If you ignored the fences and guard towers, this valley could be pretty. Either way, leaving this place felt good to Jason (not his real name). The plan was for his father to be there, but Jason was released earlier than expected, and his father's flight wouldn't arrive until the next day. Give thanks that Pascal is now able to visit people in prisons. Pray that our volunteers would soon join him.

Give thanks that there have not been many COVID-19 cases at Matsqui Institution.

Pray for inmates who are struggling with isolation and loneliness.
