Some staff have been known to call me Brew Dude on occasion.... 3. What do you do at MAB? I’m the Head Brewer for MAB here. I write the recipes, brew lots, oversee production operations, train staff, do occasional tours, beer talks and such though those are few and far between these days.. 4. Besides working here, of course, what are your passions? I like to forage for plants and fungi when in season, cook or brew beer with said ingredients, hike, read, and explore this beautiful island when time permits. 5. What is your favorite beer style? West coast IPA ninety per cent of the time. I do love most Belgian styles or a traditionally brewed Lager. 6. What is your favorite MAB beer (past or present)? I'm quite fond the The Sprut. Only get to brew a few batches a year but damn it’s tasty! 7. What is your favorite thing to eat? Anything spicy or Asian. 8. Where is your favorite place on earth?
