ATTENTION EVERYONE! We would like to encourage people to support black owned local businesses. Macafricans has put together a small giveaway package with 3 items from local black owned brands. We will be conducting a raffle to select ONE winner to receive ALL three items. 90% of the proceeds will be donated to BLACK HEALTH ALLIANCE CANADA. The other 10% of the proceeds will go towards covering the costs of the care package items.... *NOTE: If the 10% of total donations exceeds the total cost of the care package, the excess funds will be donated to BLACK HEALTH ALLIANCE CANADA instead of being kept by MacAfricans. We are asking all student groups that support this movement to match our donation of $100 or make a donation of an amount of your choosing to an organization of your choosing. McMaster Univerity(@mcmasteru), we are asking that you donate a minimum of $1000 to organizations that support all black lives. In addition to this, we expect that the McMaster Community will take appropriate action in the future with regards to progressive equity and inclusion initiatives. Lets all com...e together to continue to make our communities a place we can all reside in harmony. #BLMatMAC #blacklivesmatter

We are saddened and disheartened to see the world the way it is today, but little by little changes are being implemented to make improvements to the injustices that exist. - The black community has suffered for years and it is amazing to see people coming together.
