Monday, March 8th at 8:00 pm. Celebrating International Women’s Day with a special virtual concert brought to you by the Every Woman’s Centre in Sydney. This is a special place, where some amazing ladies do incredible work for women within our own community The MacArthur Dancers were thrilled and honoured to be invited to create performances for this event (normally it’s 19+, but virtual has allowed us to take part). Along with the rest of the incredible line-up of musicians, singers, songwriters and storytellers - my senior Highland Dancers & my Senior Step Dance Class have recorded video performances created for this event. Tonight we spent the evening at the beautiful Lakewind Sound Studios Ltd. (aka Dad’s Studio) to record a video for a virtual show for the Every Women’s Centre. It was so much fun to be together for hair and make-up again It was also so great to finally complete a Covid Choreo we started on Zoom last May - and it’s a fun and funky one! These 4 knocked it out of the park on first cut SO PROUD. Today was a very exciting and crazy busy day We are SO thankful and honoured to have been invited to perform with the CBU Pipe Band for their annual Christmas Show once again, for the 5th year running. This year, it will be online - so please support this annual fundraiser in December (I’ll post the link when it’s available). After a week of rehearsals, today we were live on site/stage It was truly wicked to have a project, a goal, and to be able to do what we love best...PERFORM Also, I just love hanging with my crew Since live performance is mostly a distance memory - be prepared for an onslaught of photos every time we get the chance Proud of these girls.
