What is filler? Dermal Filler contains Hyaluronic Acid (HA) also known as Hyaluronian which is a non-sulfated glycosaminoglycan, easier understood as a sugar molecule that is naturally produced in the body. HA is abundant in connective tissues and skin. Its anionic & hydrophillic properties are essential for maintaining moisure, elasticity, and volume. Whats really great though is that this chemical structure is uniform throughout nature and it does not have a protein compone...nt. Since HA lacks this protein component it will have very little or no potential reaction when its injected. This does not mean there are no COMMON SIDE EFFECTS OR COMPLICATIONS.
