One of the cool things that happened online this year was the Learn English Through Singing course taught by Conservatory of Music instructor Maura Sharkey-Pryma. Students learned pronunciation through vocal warm-ups, tongue twisters, and singing popular songs. If you are interested in taking the next Learn English Through Singing course, sign up for our newsletter: http://go.macewan.ca/scesignup Special thanks to the Edmonton Recital Society for sponsoring this program. Their support allowed the Conservatory of Music and English as an Additional Language to partner and make this course a reality.

I believe that one of the greatest joys in life is to hear beautiful singing. My specialty is the Bel Canto Technique a technique that offers versatility in voice and allows you to sound like an opera singer one minute, and a rock or pop singer the next. Once you demystify the bel canto technique, you can take the singing world by storm and I am here to guide you through this adventure. My goal is to provide you with a fun, inspirational environment that will expand your singing skills and make your voice lessons the highlight of your day. - Sveltana Sech, Voice Instructor Svetlana offers online voice lessons for all levels from teens to adults. She brings a sense of enjoyment to lessons that inspire students to continue singing year after year. To learn more about Svetlana check out her teacher profile: https://musce.ca/33Y9KBT
