Meet Myles, our president this year! Myles is a 3rd year political science and economics major, who also serves as a student member of the MacEwan Board of Governors. For the past five years, Myles has been passionate about Rotary and what it can offer its members. His involvement first began when he attended the Rotary Youth Program for Enrichment (RYPEN) as a camper, which he now chairs. Myles believes that what makes Rotary great is its ability to adapt to the context of the world surrounding it, whether it be the journey to eradicating polio in the 1980s or now when Rotary clubs are committing to anti-racism initiatives in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Cassey is going into her fourth, and final year, of the Bachelor of Arts program, with a major in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. This is also her fourth year of being a part of MacEwan Rotaract Club, while remaining involved in a number of other Student Groups and initiatives on- and off-campus to keep her schedule filled. When COVID-19 isn’t cancelling plans, Cassey enjoys travelling, having been to 20 countries and counting!

Meet Erin Wadge, our President-Elect for this year! Erin is going into her third year of the Bachelor of Commerce program with a major in Legal Studies and plans to minor in Accounting. Erin has also completed a Paralegal Studies diploma and will be graduating from the program in November! She is originally from Vancouver Island but moved to Edmonton for school two years ago. Erin’s Rotary journey began with her high school’s Interact club in 2015. Erin plans to attend law school and work as a lawyer one day. A fun fact about Erin is that she worked at the Department of Justice as a legal assistant student through the FSWEP program. She also has a really cute dog!
