This is the Helios 55mm, a vintage Russian photography lens, most commonly known as the swirly bokeh lens popular with many photographers. One of our upcoming productions for Reel Canada, was 90% shot on the Helios, due to its lens coating, giving it an overall older, vintage film look to our images. It also makes for a great DIY-Cinema lenses due to its de-clicked aperture, allowing us to mount gears for the focus and aperture. At around $50 used on Ebay, It is easil...y one of our favourite go-to lenses to help add more characteristics and look to our productions.
