We do not have any 3 day basic trainings scheduled for the summer but I have been asked to speak at Real File's Summer Series event this weekend July 8th from 9-5 https://bit.ly/2KeRI7s. We will be going through case studies to assist people with accurate analysis for better projections, how to structure their investments in Canada and the US, and how to creatively finance these projects. Lots of time for Q&A with a former CRA auditor (David Puotinen) and some property management tips as well.

Real File CPA has asked if I would come out to share a bit about analysis and financing real estate investments even in this current tough environment at one of their upcoming Summer Series Events. I always enjoy speaking at their events - I will be sharing some strategies that we are currently using that will significantly boost your returns with the right lender and financing structure that essentially allows purchasers to more easily qualify with a lower capital requirement. What could be more fun on Sunday in July...tax structuring, analysis, and financing has to beat out the beach every time right?

Interesting to see how this group is expecting to find solid returns if there is a downturn in Toronto...(last three paragraphs).

It will be interesting to see if some of the upcoming changes will have the desired effect - many think not.
