As amazing a lawyer as he was, Gerard MacKenzie was an even better father, husband, friend and mentor. He was a dedicated family man and gave tirelessly to his community. 9/11 was a day that none of us will ever forget. It was a day that was marked by unspeakable evil, but also by the incredible courage and selflessness of the firefighters, police, and other first responders who answered the call that day. Today we remember and honour their heroism and sacrifice, and offer our sympathy and support to all those affected.
