MacKenzie’s & Sons HVAC & Plumbing Services was out, with the Brant Pros Clean Up Crew, as we continued with our monthly clean up today. This month the Brant Pros group did a cleanup at Shallow Creek Park in Eagle Place. It was a big job but, the park is much cleaner and safer. The garbage we collected contained broken glass, shopping carts, and some needles. Thanks to our team for another successful cleanup. Yesterday we took the afternoon off to enjoy a fishing trip on Lake Ontario courtesy of Moby Nick's Fishing Charters. Everyone had a great time and went home with fresh salmon for dinner. Highlights were the 17lb salmon caught by Lisa and the 22lb salmon caught by Stefan. What a great afternoon!!!

It was a great day for MacKenzie's & Sons to participate in Stop #2 for the @BrantPros Community Clean Up Crew. Today we cleaned up the corner of Greenwich and Clarence St. (The old Firehall lot) We managed to remove a spare tire, a big bag of garbage and a couple needles. We did take training from the @BrantCountyHealthUnit We have secured them and will be disposed of properly. ... Remember the Brant Pros will be doing one spot a month to help make the City of Brantford look better. Hi. I very rarely put anything on this page but I am hearing that there is a proposal to have a food truck on our beach this summer. Just wondering how you feel... about this. To me, the family beach (Red Bay) experience is picnic lunches and snacks, not commercial food. Sometimes a snack from the camp store. If I want commercial food (food truck or restaurants) I would go to a commercial beach such as Sauble. I don’t look forward to the smells or garbage either! I hope that I hear opinions from others that either agree with me or convince me this is positive change... See more
