Macky C and the Mountain Men

My name is Justin Hyde. I have been playing guitar for a couple years now. I enjoy listening to a variety of music, White Stripes, John Mellencamp, The Beatles, Of Monsters, and Steve Ray Vaughan just to name a few. While I like many artists I have a few key inspirations including, my elementary school music teacher, my uncle, Mackenzie Calder, and my parents.

My name is Mackenzie Calder. I play guitar and I also like to sing. I have multiple years of experience in both of these disciplines. I enjoy modern acoustic artists but my favourite style is 80s Rock and Roll. My inspirations include Cat Stevens, Jon Bon Jovi, Brian Adams and John Cougar Mellencamp.

My name is Brandon Vergara, I am 15 years old and in grade 10. I have been playing the bass for 2 years, the guitar for 5 and the piano for 9. I enjoy all kinds of music but my two favorite bands are Queen and The Beatles. I am playing the organ and the piano for Macky C and the Mountain Men. I look forward to this years Rock The Fox!

Hello there! My name is Hailey and I'm singing backing vocals for Macky C and the Mountain Men. I'm in grade 12 this year, and am very excited to collaborate with various talented musicians in a multitude of bands. I've been singing and playing the piano since I was 9, guitar since I was 14, and most recently in the past year I've picked up the drum sticks, and have also played the bass. I wish to further expand my musical talents, and in the future I look forward to playing ...more instruments such as ukulele, mandolin, and banjo. This January will mark my 5th Rock the Fox performance. I enjoy a wide-variety of music such as country, alternative, classic rock, and folk. I'm influenced by many great artists, some of which include, Ed Sheeran, twenty one pilots, Taylor Swift, City and Colour, the Dixie Chicks, and many, many others. I look forward to having a successful Rock the Fox this January with such a talented group of musicians! See more

My name is James Tjernagel I am 15 years old. I've been play drums for about 4 years now. I can also play the cajon. My musical inspirations include Twenty-one Pilots, Led Zeppelin, ACDC, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Coldplay. This is my first year playing at Rock the Fox and I'm grateful for the amazing privilege of being able to play with these talented musicians!!
