A peek inside the studio this week to see an almost finished acrylic and gel photo transfer.

Here we are another week started. I am teaching my first virtual workshop on Thursday. Al is helping me set up cameras and tripods and I am writing a tentative script for the two hour lesson. Normally, people would talk, drink wine perhaps and look at each other's work, during drying time for the acrylic paint. Now I have to consider small mini lessons to use as filler for drying time. I'm thinking about brush handling, new products, brush cleaning and a studio tour. It's a new world. This is the image we will paint together.

New cover photo this week. A series of greeting cards in watercolour and ink. I am excited to be doing my first virtual art workshops for the Tett Centre coming up in June. Talk about a learning experience! Discovering all about Zoom. Al is acting as my cameraman in this endeavour. Couldn't do it with out him..

One thing about the quarantine. I've been spending more time in the studio (and in the house with Al - gotta love him!) This is a new painting from the Alberta Badlands series. It is a combination of photo transfer (my photo) and acrylic. The combination of these two techniques is one of my current favourites. It's for sale - any interest?
