Thanks to COVID, we are not doing the big, one-day Pumpkin Pitch this year. But we ARE accepting post-Halloween pumpkins, gourds, and straw bales for the pigs. ...To ensure we are not breaking any crowd regulations, here is the plan for 2020. Pumpkins may be delivered to Stone Horse Farm, from Monday through Sunday, Nov. 2-8. Please visit from 3-6 pm each day so we can make it safe and fun for everyone, pigs included! Please park where you see the sign. Pumpkins may be carried to the fence, or use the wooden cart if you bring a lot. See how far over the fence you can toss your pumpkins! The long-awaited opening of the Orillia Recreation Centre (ORC) is here, but in light of COVID-19, the opening will be carried out in a staged approach. As of t...oday (Oct. 26) the ORC is open for user groups, fitness center time slots, registered programming and pre-registered drop-in programs. There will be no walk-in membership sales, programs or tours available at this time due to COVID-19.
