These hands have not only knit many afghans, hats, mittens, socks and scarves, but they’ve also made crafts, tended gardens and much more. These are the hands of mothers, grandmothers and great grandmothers. Of homemakers and teachers, veterans and nurses, caregivers, telephone operators, clerks, Sunday school teachers and pianists. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Co-Founder and friend, Irene MacLeod. Irene was a driving force within MacLeod Group. As co-founder of the company with her husband Brian, Irene’s focus on staff wellness and delivering quality care laid the foundation for the culture of the company. Always full of energy and passion, Irene was a great inspiration for many. She took particular interest in supporting women in their careers and family life, al...ways passing along advice and encouragement. Irene passed peacefully on December 10th, 2020 after a short battle with cancer.
