There is still not a lot of information regarding the $5,000 grant for businesses affected by Covid-19 offered by the government of New Brunswick but Opportunities NB has released this memo. More information to come.

A follow up to yesterday's post. Tax returns are due on June 1 but no interest or penalties on amounts owing until after Aug. 31, 2020.

Tax return deadline extended to June 1, 2020. Taxes must be paid by August 31, 2020 (revised on March 18, 2020).

The new Canada Training Credit is only available in 2020 and later but will use information from your 2019 tax return for next year's credit.

NO Climate Action Incentive Payment this year! This means the "carbon tax" refund every NBer received last year on their tax return is not available this year.

Looming Tax Deadline for Self-Employed Persons!

Now that April 30 has come and gone, we would like to thank all of our clients for a very busy and successful tax season! Thank you for putting your trust in us. We won't let you down. Tax Tips posts were few and far between recently while we were busy making sure you got every deduction you were entitled to, but we will continue to post tax tips all year round.
